Sorry, don’t really think there’s anything new here. Women being dismissed and mistreated by asshole men (and even some other women) has been happening since the dawn of time. We all like to think we’ve progressed as a modern society but whether it’s social media, movies, television, books or your local news, there are women being marginalized, insulted or ignored for having the “wrong” chromosomes. It’s great that Leslie took the time to bring this to everyone’s attention in a thoughtful manner but I don’t think it’s unexpected. Look no further than the Trump campaign to see a serial womanizer being treated like he’s a patriotic savior.
