Dragon Crypto in A Glance
Dragon Crypto Gaming is a gaming studio that is utilizing the Avalanche blockchain to create a player-centric business model. In their games, players can own assets in the form of NFTs and other features that provide real value accruals to committed players. They are also creating an evolving digital universe that combines play-and-earn features with user ownership and sustainable economics.
The DCG universe consists of multiple interconnected game platforms. One of the main features of this universe is The Legend of Aurum Draconis, a fantasy-themed role-playing game (RPG) that is to be released soon in the Argenti layer. Players will have access to unique and persistent player NFTs, which can be built into lethal warriors, crafting masters and anything in-between. They will be able to earn valuable DCG tokens via in-game combat, crafting, marketplace trading, fighting epic battles as part of a party, and eventually, through building upon their own land. Dragon Crypto Gaming aims to leverage the global reach and limitless potential of decentralized finance (DeFi) to offer a fun, fulfilling, and rewarding RPG experience on the blockchain.
Argenti Platform: A Self-Sustaining Economy
The Argenti platform generates revenue through a variety of unique features, which are then redistributed within the ecosystem to establish a self-sufficient economy.
The Argenti platform features include:
- Play-and-Earn / NFTs
The Argenti platform offers two main play-to-earn offerings, The Legend of Aurum Draconis and Tiny Dragons, both of which feature original gameplay and NFTs.
- Revenue Generation
Certain in-game actions such as minting Hero NFTs, healing and trading equipment in the in-game marketplace, have a small fee in DCAU. Other actions such as crafting, trading crafting materials in the in-game marketplace, and eventually breeding Tiny Dragon NFTs, have a small fee in DCAR.
- Players Rewards and Revenue Sharing
Players can earn DCAU, DCAR, and in-game NFT items by playing The Legend of Aurum Draconis and Tiny Dragons Arena. Stake DCAR to earn platform revenues (Both DCAU and DCAR).
- Marketplace Trading
Players can list their items, equipment, Hero NFTs, and crafting materials from The Legend of Aurum Draconis and Tiny Dragons on the in-game marketplace for other players to purchase using DCAU/DCAR.
- Crafting
Players can purchase crafting materials using DCAR and find/purchase blueprints which have formulas to create NFT equipment, these blueprints allow for change in materials and augmentation using elemental stones for plenty of customization.
- The Forge
Players can take their gathered iron, gold, and many other ores fresh from the mines and bring them to the forge to make metals for crafting purposes, there are thousands of combinations.
- Treasure Bonds and Protocol Owned Liquidity
Users can trade in various assets at the in-game Bank to mint rare, limited edition NFTs which they can stake to get DCAR at a discount compared to buying DCAR directly. Treasury funds will be used for ecosystem development.
The Legend of Aurum Dracoins
The Legend of Aurum Draconis is an old-school, fantasy RPG on the blockchain, set in an ever-evolving digital universe filled with mystery, magic, and danger. Players have the ability to customize their characters’ skills, equipment, and own their loot, all of which are truly theirs in the form of NFTs. The game includes exciting, story-driven quests where players must defeat hordes of enemies of increasing difficulty to obtain valuable loot and crafting resources. As players gain experience, they can customize their heroes’ stats and skills to their liking. Additionally, players can craft and choose their favorite combinations of equipment from a vast range of powerful items. All items in the game are NFTs and can be traded in the player-driven in-game marketplace.
Tiny Dragons Arena
Tiny Dragon Arena offers a casual player-vs-player gaming experience where players battle and level up their Tiny Dragon NFTs, compete in leagues and win attractive prizes in the form of token rewards. The inaugural series of utility NFTs, Tiny Dragons, was released in October 2021 and all 1000 were sold out within minutes, and are now available for secondary sale on their partners’ NFT marketplace, NFTrade. In the future, Tiny Dragons will continue to play a significant role in the ecosystem and the arena will be included in The Legend of Aurum Draconis as an in-game location so players can enjoy both experiences
