We have successfully hosted the Ecosystem Launch Event On the 30th of November, last week. During the entire process, Damo Shang, Founder of BOX, introduced the brand-new product lines used in various security scenarios.
WalletMate, considered as the partner of BoxVault, is a hardware used to store the private keys instead of obsolete handwriting methods. By using WalletMate, most of your confidential information such as private keys, bank cards, mnemonics, as well as other important data can be safely stored.
How is it used?
- When you create an address in any of the light wallet apps, you are generally requested to perform the mnemonic and keystore backup, then you can plug WalletMate into any of your mobile phone or computer.
- Open WalletMate when you back up the mnemonic in your light wallet, enter the mnemonics into WalletMate. Afterwards, your mnemonics are permanently stored in WalletMate.
- When you want to get the mnemonic, you only need to plug WalletMate into any into any of your mobile phone or computer to obtain it.
Furthermore, WalletMate can be used with crypto wallets like imToken, Kucoin, and of course perfectly with our BoxVault.
When used with BoxVault, WalletMate automatically back up important data by connecting to the signature machine. WalletMate also enables shareholders to realize one-click recovery if they lose the device or forget the password.
