EventsinRiga.com | What if I need to cancel my event?
If you need to cancel your event & have sold paid tickets, please open a support ticket and we will take the following steps on your behalf:
STEP 1 — NOTIFY TICKET HOLDERS
We will send an email broadcast to every ticket holder of your event announcing your cancellation and the reasons why. We will also provide a legally-binding notice of refund or voucher, depending on the option you choose to reimburse the holders (see below).
STEP 2A — IF TICKETS ARE TO BE REFUNDED
After we receive your cancellation request support ticket, we will immediately close your ticket sales. Within 24 hours we will provide you with an invoice that includes charges of €0.22 per ticket + 2.5% of gross sales. Once your invoice is settled, we will issue the notice listed in STEP 1 and immediately process refunds back to the original credit cards or PayPal accounts used for ticket purchase.
STEP 2B — IF TICKETS ARE TO BE EXCHANGED FOR VOUCHERS
If you plan to produce the same event at a later date, you can issue ticket vouchers for the new event. Before we legally can provide the notice listed in STEP 1, you must already establish the new event listing & box office with EventsinRiga.com so that we can properly issue valid tickets to the new event. Once your new event setup is complete, we will provide all original ticket holders with 1:1 vouchers for your new event. Please note that the pricing for your new event must match the original event or it is not eligible to issue vouchers.
STEP 3 — PROVIDE EXCELLENT ONGOING CUSTOMER SUPPORT
After the refunds or vouchers are processed, EventsinRiga.com will provide ongoing support to your ticket holders to answer their questions & provide guidance if they encounter issues. You will not need to directly interact with or service the support needs of your ticket holders.
