Look at something that seems small, like the fact that emotional support animals (ESAs) were initially designed to comfort and help people who were struggling with mental health issues. In recent years, however, their use has been the subject of debate, with some saying that they are not being used for what they were made for.
When it comes to ESAs, one problem that has emerged is that people are not treating others with respect. Many people take advantage of the benefits, like being able to live in places that don’t allow pets or travel with their pet, even though they don’t really need the help.

Things like this also make people less able to understand and care about people in need. People will never really understand or feel for the hard times people go through when they are not held accountable.
This is a problem that affects society as a whole, not only ESAs. People appear to think that the benefits they have obtained as a result shouldn’t be mentioned because they do not share the same values as earlier generations.

This is problematic because it ignores the ongoing hardships endured by people who have been harmed by prior wrongdoings and actions.
Society as a whole needs to talk about this issue so that everyone is held responsible for what they do and so that empathy and understanding are at the center of our relationships with each other. Stopping this disassociation and pursuing a more just and equitable society for all are priorities.

A significant issue in our society is the failure to assume responsibility. It serves as the cornerstone for accountability, and personal development. People become irresponsible and lack accountability when they are not held responsible for their conduct. This is evident in the manner that certain people take advantage of the system.
The people who are actually in need are also impacted by this lack of accountability and responsibility, in addition to those who are abusing the system. It can also result in a lack of compassion and understanding for individuals who are actually in need.

This can be seen in the way that some people don’t care about the ongoing struggles of oppressed groups and refuse to take responsibility for the benefits they’ve gotten because of past wrongs.
A society can’t grow and change if it can’t take responsibility for its past actions and make up for them. It is a society that can’t move forward because it can’t deal with the problems that are holding it back. To create a more fair and equal society for everyone, we must make sure that everyone is held responsible for their actions and that empathy and understanding are at the center of our relationships with each other now and in the future.
