When you hear the advert on SeanHannity, GlennBeck, etc, beware. I love both of these gentlemen for what they do on their shows, but they like to pay their bill and “WorkAtHome” sends them checks to do ads. Paying the bills is not always easy.
RUN from any of these types. They keep getting more clever in their presentations. Many of the WorkAtHome come ons are just fronts for Multi-Level marketing. If it smells like MLM, it is. The only way to make money from MLM is to sell to the people inside. You do not want to be a person inside.
Friends were part of the most well known MLM on the planet. We got to hear about their upline diamond all the time. One day, they told us in passing that the upline had to move. The owner of the house the diamond lived in was selling it. DING, DING, DING, DING went the warning bell in my head. Why the heck didn’t they own their own home. If they were doing so well (a diamond is supposed to be doing really well), they should have enough to own their house.
A travel version of MLM came to my house several years ago. I didn’t make it home for that presentation. I had other “work” to do. I didn’t know if it was a MLM, but I didn’t to be part of the presentation. When i did get home, I looked at the materials and spent all night trying to figure out the scam. These guys were damn good. You could find all kinds of people who had benefitted from the MLM. They were doing a variant of the PennyBid game. They had actual vacations you could get for low rates, the trick was getting one.
If you got one, you were a testamonial. The people who didn’t get them kept on trying.
The second law of thermodynamics can not be ignored forever. Eventually it sneaks back in and clips you.
That doesn’t prevent believers from believing.
