The Home Stretch

Last. Semester. Ever.

Maybe…Grad School? Ya neva know.

That’s right. It’s my last semester as an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. It’s been an interesting journey, to say the least. If you know me, you’ve heard my opinion on my education up until this point. I’ve met some fantastic individuals, which I discussed just last week. As you’ll read, that was hands down the best part of my time here. I’m unbelievably grateful for all of the opportunity that I’ve been so fortunate to have here in Oshkosh.

I’m often asked, and rightfully so, “what are your plans after you graduate?” My answer is typically, “Well first I’m going to Mexico and then Austin, Texas and then when I get back…I’ll figure it out!” Although this isn’t entirely false, I do have a plan. My plan is to work endlessly developing myself into the person that I am constantly becoming. My plan is to help the ActiveEDU team push to another level and help children all around battle this horrible obesity epidemic. My plan is to actively seek and pursue my passions.

Wherever I end up, is ultimately up to me in the decisions I make and the action that I take. I have a few months of school ahead of me that I know will breeze right by and come December whether I have a “plan” or not, you can count on one thing. I’ll be ready.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
