LeBron turns 33 years-old on Saturday. I suppose playing the where-has-the-time-gone card would be more appropriate coming from someone who happens to be his age, at least; Although I’m eight years his junior, LeBron’s disappearing youth is still surreal. Sixteen years ago, he was a 16 year-old prodigy dubbed “The Heir to Jordan”; Thirteen years ago, he became the youngest player, at 20 years-old, to drop 50 points in an NBA game; Eleven years ago, his potential was realized while hanging 25-straight points on Detroit in the Eastern Conference Finals; seven years ago, he was the most polarizing athlete in the world, as we berated him for leaving Cleveland and questioned if he had what it took to win a championship; only six years ago, he snatched the ring that forever alluded him; and then, two years ago, he submitted his career-defining moment, a la ‘The Block’ in Game 7 against the Warriors.

As the calendar flips to 2018, LeBron is still at his absolute apex; only now, more than ever, we know we’re approaching the end. Fifteen seasons, 1,095 games, and 42,544 minutes into his career, it’s time to count down the Chosen One’s 15 greatest games.
