I've spent my career working as a journalist, cinematographer, Creative Director and storyteller. I've been pretty fortunate that I've been able to build my career simply based on talking to people and learning their stories. Ask most of the people I work with and you'll learn I'm usually off somewhere talking to, well pretty much anyone, learning unique details about their life. That's evolved into a process that is all in the pursuit of finding unique stories that need to be told.
I first really remember being pulled into Harris and Me. It had some seminal moments for me, like Ernie the killer rooster. Maybe that's because I had my own killer rooster lurking in the plants of Foxglove Nursery while my mom chose plants for her garden installations.
Coming out of University, I managed to combine my two passions of storytelling and camera work into a job as a videojournalist. Through my journalism and filmmaking career, I've now told hundreds of stories and conducted thousands of interviews in over 30 countries. And through it all my passion is connecting with people, learning what moves them, and bringing those stories to life on screen.
Whether that's using the story research process we've implemented at Untold Storytelling, or developing our own original content, I want to keep finding and telling stories that help put a little more humanity into the world.
