Fantastic. In regards to the point about “fake it til you make it” — first, yes. Do that. Second, the best designers are always learning and likely feel as though they’re a little behind, missing out, or otherwise not quite there. I’ve been at this for awhile and I don’t think I’m alone in feeling that way. I learn things from people all the time and revel in meeting with anyone with passion and enthusiasm, regardless of their experience. In fact, the energy many young designers have is contagious and I’m likely getting more out of the meeting than they are :-)
