The Problem With Promises

Most presidential candidates make lots of promises. They say they will do this or that and fix all of our problems. But can they really do all that?

The answer is no.

Most people love Trump based off his idea of a wall. A big wall that will cost billions. This is great to hear for some people but in reality it will never happen. The real power with making decisions like this lies with congress. Presidents can try to persuade congress to do certain things, like make a bill to make a wall, but they can’t force it on them.

When presidents say they will create more jobs they have no power to do that. They can ask people in congress to make bills that will allow for jobs but the majority still has to approve.

Most presidents promise many things before the election but never deliver. This is because they have no actual power to this. So stop looking for who has the most promises, instead look for who has the most attainable goals.
