I have appreciated your insights and because of that signed up to try your new model of monthly paid membership content. I like the idea of going month per month, thank you for that option. I pay for a very small handful of programs / content that I experience as truly valuable.
I would like to see more of your insights on Evernote. I feel that Evernote is a very powerful tool and still find useful ways to use it after 7 years. I enjoyed your lengthy article a while back — especially the section on highlighting and front-loading. That’s the kind of powerful workflow practice I am looking for!
We all need better workflow integrations that are simple, fun, and easy to use while being really productive. I find that services like IFTTT can add a layer of unnecessary complexity. Often, good programs have these very same settings and options within them, which is why I spend lots of time in the settings of all my programs first, before going to another program to get me that extra capability. At the same time, I feel the need to use IFTTT and Zapier much more effectively.
I have found that there is a lot of potential in using the smartphone in more powerful ways. Often the app for the phone is better than the desktop ‘equivalent’. And integrations seems to be naturally there.
The specific request I have is to keep looking outside the mainstream for powerful tools with an emphasis on the practice / workflow.
A possible format or medium to share your future items might be a shared Evernote notebook, just a thought. Not sure of your current thoughts on Evernote. Slack could be an option too and would help people like myself to become familiar with how it can be used in our own contexts.
I look forward to getting more good content from you Tiago!
