There are other avenues I could rattle off-DBT worksheets, mentor support, meditation. But the therapy, good therapy, is not something within everyone’s reach, within one’s own inherent resources. It can take lots of seeking out and setbacks. Meanwhile, like gun control, it’s probably the most pressing diagnosis we could address.
