How I Believe as a Gay Latter-day Saint

I have hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I find comfort in what I consider the most important part of my baptismal covenant, the call to stand with those who stand in need of comfort, to mourn with those that mourn.

The transformative nature of the atonement opens my heart to others and inspires me to do what I can to lift them up.

My faith isn’t necessarily one of just believing, but also one of doing, of striving, of hoping that I can be the hands to support and the heart that connects.

I find hope that through the pure gospel of Jesus Christ, we can build a Zion, where a place will be found for all of us.
