Anyone Can Publish on Medium

So it seems anyone can create an account on medium and start publishing their own stuff on the site. I didn’t know this for a bit, and was impressed to see a few associates with official content on the site they had written.. until I signed up and clicked the “publish” button. Woops. So, now I’m no longer impressed if even I can put stuff on here. Like this.
