You Don’t Need More Time, You Just Need to Spend It Doing What Matters

So many people simply go through life without finding any satisfaction in anything. This lifetime, propped full of opportunities and wonders, is the only time we have here on earth, so we should really make the most of it. Many people do a random walk through life — they move without getting anywhere, dabbling in this and that and not committing to anything.

It takes organisation and concentration to carve out your time, but more importantly to know what you want to do with it. It’s not more time we need — its knowing how to make the most of the time we have. A typical best use of time is to plan because today is connected to next week and 5 years from now.
Too Many Activities rob you of Quality Time
What are your goals? We need to be aware of time-wasting habits, especially when its spent on something that you don’t enjoy. Multitaskers aren’t necessarily to be admired because many times they’ve got their fingers in too many pies, and they get nothing done properly. Many jobs require working on just one thing at a time.
Most people divide up their time between work, family and personal goals. Maybe your time isn’t adding up to the lifetime you want and maybe your life is just horribly overcrowded. Maybe its time to learn to say no to things that are unimportant but taking up your time. Too many activities can add needless stress and rob you of the time you need to do the things you love and which are worthwhile.
Eliminate Things that Take Up Time but are Useless
Maybe its time to explore your dreams and fantasies and to start eliminating the things in your life that are taking up your time, but bring little pleasure or value to your life. Someone said that if you want to make good use of your time, you’ve got to know what’s most important and then give it all you’ve got. What are the things that matter to you because there is always enough time to do what is important to you. The next step is to do them. Now!. Maybe there is a lifetime goal you have.
Go Full Out for a Few Activities that Matter
We don’t need more time. We just need to spend it doing what matters. So many of us race from one activity to the next without giving thought to how our hectic schedules mean we aren’t able to do anything properly.
We spend too little time on activities that really count and which help us achieve our highest goals. Think carefully about what you expect out of the few activities you choose, get rid of those of no value to you, and go full out on those that matter.
