BRAINIACCHESS OVERVIEW
There’s no need for bogus words to confuse you like traditional whitepapers, the concept of the BrainiacChess is simple. Interact with fellow chess enthusiasts and make money whilst playing. As you might already know, the game of chess is one of the world’s oldest games. The game on it’s own is fun, but why not add more fun to it, right? That’s exactly why this won’t be just another chess game. This is a chess game with style. A chess game that gives you the opportunity to select whether you want to play in 2D or 3D. A chess game that has this unique 3D version where you can have humanoids in place of the traditional chess pieces, and yes those humanoids would be animated!
What kind of crypto related game these days wouldn’t have NFT integration? Yes, there would also be NFTs on the BrainiacChess platform. The game would feature Play-to-Earn models (P2E). In-game chat where users can interact with one another would be incorporated into the gaming platform. There would also be an educational resource section of the game that teaches you how to play chess and solve chess puzzles to improve your skills. Just like an engine needs fuel to work, so does BrainiacChess. The major BrainiacChess fuel would be the $BRAINIAC token.
FEATURES
- Tournament: To spice up the game, there will be a tournament feature that will enable players to battle one another for the top spots. Any user can set up a tournament and invite other players to join/participate. Multiple tournaments can run simultaneously. Schools can utilize this feature to organize friendly competition amongst their students. Tournament creators can decide to incentivize the contest with cash/ NFT rewards to make it more interesting. Admin will create tournaments daily. Any tournament created by the admin would come with cash rewards or other forms of incentives.
- Play-to-Earn: What’s more interesting than making money while having fun? Yes you can play on BrainiacChess and earn. You can earn by participating in the daily tournaments that will be organized by the team. There will be a “Player of the week” feature whereby the most active player (by game count) every week will be rewarded in ETH, BNB or BRAINIAC. You can also earn rewards from staking your $BRAINIAC.
- NFTs: It’s always interesting to own a unique game skin. You will have the opportunity to play with sophisticated chess pieces by owning specific NFTs. In the future, we will have our own NFT market place where players can buy, sell and exchange NFTs amongst themselves.
- 3D Chess with Traditional chess pieces: As mentioned in the Overview above, there will be two kinds of 3D versions. The one with the traditional chess pieces is pretty much the same as the 2D version, the only difference is that this will come in 3 dimensions.
- 3D Chess with Humanoid pieces: This version will be like a battle ground with two opposing sides facing off. This will feature unique characters all with different traits and attributes. The characters will be animated. Their movements, however, will still follow the regular chess rules. To have an idea of what this will look like, see the image below. Note: this image isn’t the exact design for BrainiacChess, it’s just a diagrammatic representation.
- TV feature: The game will have a tab where you can watch top rated players. You can be spectators to other people’s live games. This feature can be useful for learning from more experienced players.
- Tutorials/Puzzles: The game will have a tutorial section where users can brush up their chess skills. It will also feature solving chess puzzles (this could be incentivized in the future).
