I used to love playing board games as a kid. Still brings back fun memories of all the times spent playing snakes and ladders, battleship, clue, ludo, and all the other classics. But I quickly outgrew it as I entered my teens replacing them with video games and sports. However, over the last couple of years board games are seeing a resurgence in popularity with adults and with that I’ve been pulled back into the fun and weekend consuming world of board games.
At first, I was dismissive when friends brought up plans of board game nights. But one of those nights took place at my house(thanks to my roommate!) and not able to avoid the ruckus I decided to join in for a quick game and that was all it took to get me hooked. 10 mins turned to 4 hours and that has repeated itself multiple times over the last couple of years as I have joined different groups of friends time and again in playing a variety of different games from silly party games to games that require extensive planning and strategizing. And as we are stuck spending time at home, here are my favourites games that will help you have fun with family or friends to get you through the lockdown!
