I would not talk about game-changing for the CT results you show. Of course deep learning is very useful for noise reduction and many papers have already been published. Moreover, iterative reconstruction techniques are used by every vendor today, so comparing to filtered back projection is not the most appropriate. In fact, most venders already use deep learning for noise reduction, though not all has been published or released in products yet. A big scientific challenge is how to evaluate ‘diagnostic quality’.
