Introducing The Happiness Planner

Background

About 2 years ago I started a blog called BrandMentalist which has become my friend for personal growth and inspiration. I keep quotes I see and like on it. I jot down little inspiring thoughts I have on it. I elaborate my thoughts, analysis, and understanding of humans and life on it.

As the blog grew to attract more readers, I wanted to have a bigger impact on the world and people.

“I want to inspire people on the bigger scale. I want to inspire people to live with a purpose and passion driven life, and to find happiness from within.”

Growing up with a pessimist Mother and having had life partners who had difficult personalities, I learned to deal with negative energy trying to wrap itself around me. Luckily, my father is an optimist who sparked my interest in psychology. He is my life mentor who introduced me to the practices of positive thinking, mindfulness, and self-improvement at a very young age. Hence, this has inspired me to want to help people become more positive and mindful because I know that life is not easy. More often than not, we cannot change other people and their attitudes. What we can change is ourselves.

As Buddhism becomes more and more popular in Western culture, I am reminded of what I unconsciously learned while growing up. Suddenly the concepts that Buddhism and monks teach you become cool. When you grow up in a Buddhist country like Thailand, you didn’t pay much attention to monks’ preaches. Meditation is part of school curriculum and everyone always tells you to stay calm and relax whenever you’re angry or in a rush. Plus, the meaning of happiness to a Buddhist is a peace of mind.

I moved to Australia over 7 years ago to pursue my degree in Business with a few electives in Psychology. More and more I become deeply passionate about inspiring others and want to merge it with my other passions which are marketing, branding, and design.

What is The Happiness Planner ?

Unlike most planners that focus on productivity, The Happiness Planner focuses on “your happiness”.

It is designed to help you welcome more positivity, joy, and happiness into your life by applying the practices of positive thinking, mindfulness, gratitude, self-awareness, and self-improvement.

You will be encouraged to:

  • Set goals that will maximize your happiness level.
  • Practice self-reflection so that you understand yourself better.
  • Plan your life around things that truly matter with those who truly matter.
  • Start each day with a positive thought.
  • Cut out things that hold you back.
  • Train your mind to always look at the positive side of things.
  • Learn to master the art of resilience.
  • Strengthen relationships with your loved ones.
  • Spend more time and money on things that truly make you happy
  • Eat healthy and exercise regularly
  • End each day with gratitude

Why is it designed for 100 days?

The first edition is an undated 100-day edition. However, please note that we will be launching a yearly edition for 2016!

This edition comes with undated 100-day (Monday start) calendar so that you have the flexibility to start the Planner whenever you like. We believe that in order to make an effective improvement and change in our life, we need to self-reflect periodically and track our progress as we go along. Hence, our Planner comes with 100 daily pages instead of 365.

100-day is a perfect length to reap a new habit, a lifestyle change, or an attitude shift.
100 Days means 100 days of positivity, mindfulness, and self-improvement.

When moving on to the next planner, you shall expect to see the improvement in yourself and set new goals that reflect what makes you happy at that point in time.
