THE MYSTERY OF ELISA LAM CONTINUES

On February 19, 2013, 21-year-old Eliza Lam (resident of British Columbia, Canada) was pulled from the a water tank on the roof of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles. she was fully naked. Lam was touring LA while on break from College. Lam, who had been missing since January 31st of the same year was found only after residents began complaining of foul water coming from the faucets and reported a sludge coming from them.
Elisa Lam’s parents reported her missing after she didn’t call for several days and an investigator would release the last footage of her alive. The footage was from an elevator surveillance camera and would capture perhaps her final eerie moments where she began behaving strangely.
Lam is seen exiting and re-entering the elevator, talking to herself and moving and shifting about. She also waves her hand in front of the elevator. It’s reasonable to believe that maybe the elevator was not functioning correctly. She was also seen pressing all of the elevator buttons, but the doors simply would not close. She was also seen talking to someone that is clearly not there. What happened to Elisa Lam? What was going on in those minutes that she was seen acting oddly? Who stripped her naked? Did she strip herself naked? How did she get into the water tank.
The Cecil Hotel is no stranger to strange, hosting many suicides, but this was no ordinary death. The mystery continues.
