Gary, as someone who has also worked insanely hard and had “success”, actually in building another large social media agency in New York, I question this strategy and definition of success.

While doing is certainly necessary, focusing intently on it leaves little time for being which ultimately is what we are here for, to be. Obsessing about future goals and increased success can often leave us wanting and needing something else for our happiness.

As someone who lived this way for 15+ years,burnt out and failed to see the deeper meaning of it all, I believe that we first must just learn to be. When we are in tune with ourselves, our greater purpose and the universe, then we can do effortlessly in pursuit. All joy, all everything comes from the now, not from the past or future.

If we define success as personal fulfillment and living with love and joy in our hearts which I believe we should, I believe this strategy may fail many people as it did me.
