This explains much in the corporate software world. Some of us are specialists, others generalists. Some get so efficient with a single library it can make most others jealous, others can sit in a room of those experts and pull it all together in ways that eluded them.
I’m a generalist. I used to feel bad I wasn’t the greatest thing since sliced bread in tech-x, but no more; the software world also needs craftsmen who are figuring out how to glue disparate things together.
