The Freedom Room

Seemingly overnight, a rule both spoken and unspoken has been erased. For eons, societies and cultures have deemed that females go to female bathrooms and males go to male bathrooms. But now it’s questioned. This has created a firestorm of hate mongering on both sides.

If you are for it, then you a part of the destruction of America. If you are against it, then you are a bigoted, hate filled cretin.

If you can’t understand why many women would take offense at the possibility of a physical male entering their bathroom / changing room / locker room, than you are watching way too much MSNBC.

The group of people, like Bruce Springsteen, who are so zealous for this change want the entire world to alter their belief system and culture instantaneously the moment it becomes fashionable to do so, however, it’s not that easy.

Society still teaches us that women have extra protection against males. If Ray Rice had knocked out a man in the elevator, he would still have a Raven on his helmet. So shouldn’t we be sympathetic with females uncomfortable with the thought of physical males in their bathrooms and give them the privacy they have a right to?

So here is the solution: eliminate the Men’s Room.

Let’s instead call it the Freedom Room. Men, women and transgenders are all welcome. That leaves the women’s room for those females that are uncomfortable being in a bathroom with physical males.

For the women who don’t have an issue with it, come on over to the freedom room. It probably smells a little worse than the women’s room, but you are embracing progress.

Unfortunately at this point, “progress” is at the expense of the majority of women, so let women have their bathroom and protect their rights too.
