Honestly, all of the algorithms that he mentioned, I actually do use regularly. As do many other engineers. BFS is a 5 step process, it’s not rocket science. Impeccable memory aside, if you have actually coded a BFS search before more than twice you pretty much have it memorized. A palindrome is literally 3 steps and anyone that’s coded anything should be fully capable of doing it. So yay me for being able to remember a total of 8 things for more than 24 hours. So much information!
