ResortPass — Digital Marketing
Overview
I helped a startup called ResortPass this past summer as a marketing intern, and it was an experience being able to work in a different type of job setting.
ResortPass is a company that allows hotels and spas to efficiently provide amenities to day-only guests by renting day passes to various hotel and spa partners located all across the US. I directly worked under Hannah, the lead visual designer. Because of the startup culture of the company, my roles at RP were all over the place.
A lot of design
We had weekly meetings to discuss ways we can increase our CTR on our emails, branch out more to influencers and PR firms, and as a whole, find innovative ways to market to our target demographic. Hannah would assign me design tasks through Trello, ranging anywhere from creating Facebook ads for hotel partners and users to even traveling to partnering hotels to produce video ads.
As one of two marketing interns, I dealt with more design rather than the PR aspect. I developed an array of animated Instagram stories to consolidate our brand on Adobe After Effects, designed affiliate ads to put on websites using Google AdSense, and created Pinterest + Facebook ads for our company and other hotels.
Here’s a snippet of some graphics I made this summer. Please feel free to reach out via email if you’d like to see more of what I worked on at ResortPass and at my website if you’re interested in seeing more graphic and UX design!
