Awesome article! (You may want to check your math here, though, as this conclusion defies relativity since Proxima is 4.2 light-years away!) I’m glad you brought up lots of different propulsion methods and their implications. Something to note about the Bussard ramjet engine is that if you have a powerful enough magnetic field, you can collect enough hydrogen to power a fusion drive in our local space, it would just require a bigger power plant than if we lived closer to a higher density region of ISM. Though possible, you are right that it may be less practical than some of the other methods you have discussed. I really enjoy your space articles! Keep em coming! ✌🏻
