The Republican Party did not become an angry mob “in the blink of an eye.” A toxic soil was tilled 50 years ago when both parties failed to repair our educational system, giving us today a nation of ignoramuses. 35 years ago a poisonous seed was planted into this soil, with Republican consent, by Falwell’s Moral Majority and their Talibanesque mission to curtail freedom (I remember “Ellen Degenerate”). Ten years ago, the socially liberal Libertarian faction of the Tea Party lost out to the fascist Neo-Con faction, and our deadly young plant was nourished with white anger, fanned by Liberals and their idiotic but strident standards of political correctness (Google “micro-agression”). Finally, the odious fruit ripened…Donald Trump…the product of decades of careless gardening by both parties.
