35 Wallets Are Now Signed-Up to Support ENS (Multi-Coin Update)

A few weeks ago, we announced the launch of ENS multi-coin support on mainnet with 15 wallets signed-up for the new feature, including Coinbase Wallet, Bitcoin.com Wallet, TrustWallet, and many others.

Since then, we’ve been overwhelmed by the response! We’ve had many users contact us wondering when their favorite wallet would sign up, as well as wallets coming to us asking how they can get on board. (Feel free to politely message your favorite wallet asking them to integrate ENS 😉. They can reach out to us at brantly@ens.domains.)

Today, we’re pleased to announce a second wave of wallets signed-up to integrate the ENS multi-coin feature!

This new wave has 13 new wallets (list below), which brings the total number signed-up to support our new multi-coin feature to 28. When you include Ethereum-only wallets that already support ENS for Ethereum addresses, that brings the total number of wallets signed up to use ENS to 35.

This further cements ENS’s place as the most widely adopted cryptocurrency wallet naming standard by a wide margin. If you want a blockchain-based name for your cryptocurrency with the widest support in the ecosystem, we recommend getting an ENS name. Manager improvements 🏗️

While we launched full multi-coin support in the ENS protocol on mainnet a few weeks ago, we have been steadily improving support in the UI of our Manager.

Our Manager now supports setting addresses for 10 cryptocurrencies:

• XRP
• ETC
• LTC
• RSK
• MONA
• BNB
• DOGE 🐶 (finally)

We are adding support for more cryptocurrencies in our Manager all the time, so if your favorite cryptocurrency isn’t currently supported, check back again soon.

Spec update 📋

The multi-coin feature spec has had a few tweaks in the last two weeks, specifically regarding dealing with different kinds of address encodings. If you are a developer working on integration, be sure to give it another look.
