thank you for a thoughtful and timely critique. when i became interested in polynesian culture many years ago, i read hawaii by james michener and shark dialogues by kiana davenport. an invaluable lesson was learned: consider the source. never more important, i suppose, than when viewing a disney movie. one can only wish they took their scope of influence more seriously.
