Ember’s Edge

For the first time in many weeks my brain feels ready to receive new information. Here at the Iron Yard my mind has gone through a tenderizing process through the constant intake of new concepts and syntax. I have experienced brain pains in ways I didn’t know were possible. I have had the persistant sensation of swimming deep waters with a leg cramp, but today I feel like I’m standing on firm ground.

We started learning Ember this week and so far the concepts are clicking faster than anything we’ve covered so far. Of course I haven’t written much code in Ember yet, but I love how it allows programmers to focus on the app they are actually trying to write. It seems to take away a lot of the wrestling that I’ve had to do with the code in the past.

I’m excited to be on the edge of something new.
