Social Media 101

This weekend was spent online. We have finally released our website ( and tried to keep it pretty simple. This weekend was also spent updating Twitter, Instagram, Medium, Pinterest, Eventbrite, and Facebook. What you don’t realize is the amount of work it takes to connect everything on the backend. There are ways one site feeds the other to limit the number of updates you have to make. It also keeps the messaging consistent across different platforms. This is time consuming in the beginning but worth it in the long run to reach the widest audience. Aside from the logistics, now the tough part — what content to post? I’ll have Teryle work on that part. I didn’t realize brewing beer would involve so much social media knowledge and IT expertise!
