Did you get your agenda?
Who didn’t buy an agenda for the new year? — “The best quality one please” “I going to use it every single day, so it has to be the best!” “My favorite color for the agenda book please” “ The nicest design” — Not to mention the perfect pen, or the perfect bag to carry the agenda. But what was the purpose of buying a personal agenda? As far as I know, an agenda is a book where people write the things or items that they want to solve, discuss, or accomplish. An agenda may be what you need to get done with your list, but more important still is to know what do you want to do and getting started at the right moment with it.
Waking up every day without having the minimum idea of what you are going to do through the day is a big mistake. The results of not having the right answers could be fatal for you. Many people end up in a job they don’t like, money problems, and with total unhappy lives. When they realize that they have wasted their time and life, it is too late. They already have children to raise, rent to pay, boring meetings to assist, chores to do, and so on. Sadly to say, but this is the time when a lot of people decide to get a personal agenda. What for? To sort a list of what you hate most? No! What’s the point! Before going to bed or really early in the morning, image yourself next day, what do I want to be doing? what do I want to accomplish? how am I going to do it? Your life depends on these questions.
“He who every morning plans the transactions of that day and follows that plan carries a thread that will guide him through the labyrinth of the most busy life.” ― Victor Hugo
The most valuable thing humans beings have is time. Jim Rohn, an american entrepreneur, said once: “Time is more valuable that money. You can get more money, but no more time.” The minute you left go while you were scrolling down on Facebook is not coming back, and a lot of people don’t realize how short is this life, and the exiting things you could be doing and learning. So, I propose you just to try. Question yourself about your future, about tomorrow, where you want to be. When you get the proper answers run, run as fast as you can to the agenda. You can use anything to write, like the old notebook you didn’t use in college. Run, go get it, but please, please do not forget the next day. At first, it would be hard, but don’t get discourage, you will get better. Review this list every day, nowadays there are tons of free apps that could help you with it. There are not excuses to do what you want and be where you want to be. You owe it to yourself!
