First, the idea behind the Robin Williams quote is a cop-out. Regardless of “testosterone poisoning”, men can (and should, and some actually DO) choose to do better. It’s not impossible. We should all be able to expect better.

Free speech is an important thing in this country, but threats do not qualify for the protection of free speech. Additionally, language that is provocative or causes emotional distress also does not qualify under the protections of free speech.
