5 Essential Exercises with AB Wheel

The AB Wheel is a specific exercise device for the abdomen. It improves the strength of the core muscle groups. But it’s not just specific for the waist and abdomen, it can be used to train the whole body, for instance, to workout the chest, shoulder, back, arms and even lower limb muscles like the hip and legs.

Here are 5 kinds of exercises for your reference.

  1. Against the Wall

Hold the ab wheels facing the wall, place the wheels on the wall and push them up along the wall, extending your body up as the wheels push you, slowly returning to the original position when you reach the limit, and repeat.

Training parts: upper shoulder, chest.

2. Kneeling Pose

On kneel, hold the handles, inhaling first, push the Ab wheel forward to maximum extension, and then return to the initial position of kneeling, then repeat.

Training site: abdominal muscles and waist, and some auxiliary exercise to the arms, arms, chest and other parts.

3. Standing Pose

Stand on the floor, open legs slightly wider than shoulder width, holding wheel handles to push forward, pay attention to waist and abdomen with controlling, breathing, do not hold your breath.

Training parts: mainly to the waist and abdomen, also to stimulate the shoulders and arms.

4. Back Pose

Sit on the floor, put the wheels behind you, hold the handle with both hands and push it back and forth, at the same time, extend the body backward to the maximum extent, and then return to the original position.

Training part: exercise upper back, shoulder, and stretch the shoulder ligaments.

5. Yoga Pose

Sit on the floor, split your legs into a V shape, grab the handles with both hands, extend your body forward to the maximum and then return to the original position.

Training Parts: mild stimulation of arms, chest and abdomen, suitable for girls and beginners.
