Car Window Tinting

Car window tinting is one of the most preferred way to handle the interiors of your car. there are a number of tint films that are being popularly used for the Tinted Windows in different type of vehicle.

Let’s get an idea on these different variety of tint films available for tinted windows!

Dyed window tint film

This type of tint film remains the most economical window-tinting film that is least expensive and goes less functional as compared to the other films. It blocks the light by adding a thin film of dye to window, using an adhesive. It prevents the solar heat from entering through the window. Appearing black, it gives a proper visibility from inside. However, its heat-reduction efficiency isn’t particularly high.

Metalized film

Similar to the dyed films, they keep away heat by reflecting it away. This type of car window tinting is done using the very small metallic particles that remains invisible to the eyes. This metallic content also helps in strengthening the vehicle’s window, as well as they are said to be more shatter-resistant. Metalized window-tinting film creates a shiny appearance on the window, when seen from outside. Being more resistant to scratch, the only demerit it owns is due to its tendency to obstruct the cell phone signals, GPS transmission and radio reception.

Carbon window tint film

This type of film offers better results and doesn’t contain any metal items, which means it doesn’t interfere with the signal transmission issues. Giving a dark and matte-finish to the car windows, it firmly blocks around 40% of the infrared light, keeping the inside environment cool. Along with keeping away heat, it also helps preventing the further fading of the upholstery. This means you do not have to put your AC on the highest knob for cooler feel. Dissimilar to the dyed film, the carbon film doesn’t fade with time.

Ceramic film

This is the highest and most superior quality of window tinting film used for tinted windows in different vehicles. Being the best in the quality, it also remains the most expensive tint film that contains neither the metal particles, dye, nor carbon particles. In fact, it contains a kind of ceramic particle that remains both non-conductive and non-metallic, too. Even though, it is the most recent entry into the market, still it has overpowered the market with its significant performance. Considered as the most reliable Car Window Tinting film, it has the ability to cut down the entry of the solar heat from 45% to 50%, with a non-compromised visibility during both- day and night. It also gives way to appropriate functioning of radio signals, cell phones, GPS systems, and signal based devices. It is resistant to the glare and fading, and holds a shatter-proof body.
