this article flows perfectly with a book i’m currently reading, The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle —where there’s a strong focus on the concept of Deep Practice, where focusing on the moment, slowing things down and (most importantly) making mistakes are the true keys to developing lasting skills! i know for me, terms like ‘focus’ and ‘learning to fail’ are things i’ve heard all my life — it’s only now in my 29th am i’m really starting to relish ‘failing better’, and it feels great
