Many have commented that Aimee should leave Uber because the company does not need them and she can do better. Please understand it is not Uber which needs Aimee, but the other women who she is helping protect and foster more favorable working conditions in the company and in the industry. If Uber can turn this around with Aimee’s help it will show it can be done at other companies. She pointed out that sexism and harrassment is happening everywhere. Where is she going to go to avoid it? Why would she want to leave behind other women to fend for themselves when she’s proven to be a respected leader. I respect her for working on the issue and stepping up to lead. Well done, Aimee.
