There was a little difference between Trump’s response and Clinton’s response. Trump made it sound like it was all the fault of Muslims turning a blind eye to evidence of terrorist activity on US soil. When in fact, Muslims are cooperating and the examples Trump used were lies. Clinton‘s comment is a little more open to interpretation. Was she saying that the Muslims have not been doing anything and need to step up, or that they are an essential part of what we are doing and we need the help they are providing. In fact, the first part of the statement is “We need American Muslims”
