I think some of the things you’re pointing out could be framed as good advice, but this simply isn’t helpful or constructive in any way. To me, this read like a typical case of hot take designer opinion culture which is pervasive throughout the internet. It’s just not a good look for us.
Our fundamental responsibility as design leaders is to coach people. Why are these trends you’re seeing no good? What’s a better way to present a body of work? How does a designer best represent their strengths and weaknesses?
If you’re not guiding people to a place where they can make a greater impact, and instead just snipe from the sidelines, you’re not doing your job.
