Recently on April 3, 2017, I was able to grab a spot in the HCDE 210 course. I was not able to participate in the first week of class, but I’ve done enough research to know what went on. Students in class brainstormed ways to improve smart vehicle interfaces for various demographic groups.
It was a fast paced design and present process that gave students a very general overview of what HCDE is all about.
I cannot say what I like or dislike about the process because I haven’t gotten the chance to be involved in a Charrette yet.
My journey begins. It’s time to delve deep and take advantage of all this class has to offer. By the end of this quarter I will emerge with a better understanding of everything Human Centered Design & Engineering encompasses.
