Kind of funny how it worked out — Brooklyn gives Crabbe a huge offer sheet, Blazers match, and then up trading him back on the terms Brooklyn created. While $2.8M/year to get rid of the contract (Andrew Nicholson’s contract stretched) isn’t ideal, the $12.9M trade exception could be interesting. And saving $44M is a big deal, even for Paul Allen
