Mitchell Robinson trade report

It has been been reported that there have been some teams interested in acquiring Knicks center; Mitchell Robinson after the Karl-Anthony Towns deal. And the reports have been true according to sources, with multiple teams having interest but, there’s one team that has been pursuing and constantly making contact with the Knicks has been the New Orleans Pelicans. And just last night they’ve made an effort to pursue an offer to them that’s surrounding, Pelicans forward Trey Murphy. There has been an increase with the communication between the Knicks and Pelicans just in the recent, twelve hours or so, per league sources. It seems like the Pelicans are desperately trying to look to get this deal agreed upon.

As reported last night the Pelicans have made the most conversations about; Robinson and are now pushing to pursue him the most, the deal could always change or get offered in a verity of different ways so waiting might have to be an option between this. If Robinson ends up in New Orleans that would boost there defense dramatically having a rim protecting big-man is always something that’s valuable in todays NBA, with everyone looking to take it in to the paint and create contact.

Mitchell Robinsons injury

Robinson underwent surgery to for the stress fracture on May 13. Per SNY’s Ian Begley, Robinson is targeting a “December/January return date.” New York wants Robinson to be “100 percent healthy” before he plays this season. Robinson notably had surgery on a stress fracture in his ankle last December and proceeded to miss 50 games. So there’s an obvious desire here to make sure he’s fully ready to go before taking the court. The Knicks have also reportedly said they don’t know if Robinson is “Dependable” and if they are able to rely on him all the time during the season.
