A Promising Future
Marcus was an intelligent guy. He got good grades in High School and played football at North Carolina State University. He was a well-rounded individual. A good student and a great athlete. The world was in his hands.
His future looked promising.
Until one day his world was flipped upside down.
Halfway through his freshman year at College he got in to a serious motorcycle accident.
He was in a coma for 2 months.
The doctors told his Mom that he would never walk again or be able to think for himself. They told her he would have a tough time taking care of himself. They all gave up on him. None of them had any hope that he would live a decent life.

After he came out of his coma, Marcus was severely disabled. He was in a wheel chair for a while. Yet, he kept fighting and doing physical therapy.
