A poem.

These clothes don’t fit like they used to,
looking in the mirror and I’m not sure I like the view,
gray hairs scatter across my head,
on most days, I can barely get out of bed.

I feel like I’ve aged a decade over the past year,
Sometimes, I can’t figure out why I’m still here,
the long nights turn into early mornings,
and there are never any warnings.

Still, I continue to walk on,
because life is a marathon,
I‘m not the man I once was,
that’s because I’m now living for a bigger cause.

I say goodbye to…

Brutal honesty for all the soon-to-be parents out there.

I’m Going To Drop Some Knowledge On You

Let me know if you can relate to this situation:

You tell your loved ones you’re having a kid. Everyone then proceeds to tell you how wonderful being a parent is. They’ll tell you about all the fantastic memories you’ll create with your child…

Creatives need to rise up and speak their mind.

— Martin Luther King Jr.

With so much going on in the world right now, it’s hard for me to remain silent. Look around you, can you remember the last time things were this bad? Yeah, me neither. Yet, that’s precisely what so many of us end up doing — remaining silent and suffering alone. I often wonder why that is. I think I’ve finally figured out the answer.

We Are Afraid Of Being Judged By Others

If we tell people the truth about how we’re scared shitless because we’ve…

It’s time for us to unite.

— Eleanor Roosevelt

The Country We Used To Be

The election is coming up. Republicans vs. Democrats, going head to head once again. Every four years, it’s the same story. You can turn on the television and see one advertisement after another showing you the faults of each candidate. Smear campaigns have been running rampant in every election for as long as we can remember. …
