Couldn’t agree more. Not enough attention is focused on the levered impact of smart infrastructure investment… jobs with a leveraged economic footprint today and a platform for new economic expansion and jobs tomorrow.

There are a handful of areas where scale investment and incentives are necessary and merited… energy, transportation, and water. I’d also look at 3D printing and next gen manufacturing as a job and economy accelerator to live on the foundation of the three areas above.
