One point bears further examination, from my vantage. I agree there will likely be fewer parked cars, but I’m not convinced there will necessarily be less cars on the roads. That depends on 1) the degree to which commuters ride share (against migration from public transportation options) and 2) the degree to which autonomous generates new driverless trips that put cars in service without the requirement of a human in them.
