‘Bots’ /AI have been around with us for a long time in some shape or form — Its just they are now getting more powerful. Unlike the smartphone they won't really make an obvious step function change. Not even sure that the smartphone was that bigger step change, it simply evolved from phone, then to PDA and that was way before Apple pretended to invent it!

Read evolution rather than revolution, and you may need to look over a period of time to see the real changes.
