2015 Was About Adjusting.

We reach a point in our lives where we must change something or it becomes stagnant.

2015 was all about change.

I quit my bartending job at a Las Vegas Strip hotel in June and my wife and I packed up our belongings and moved to Utah.

We did this for our sanity, the betterment of our kids and so I could devote more time to writing.

The first few months who terrible as I couldn’t get a job, even with strip bartending experience.

At first, it felt like we’d made a mistake in moving.

We moved in with my mother-in-law, which was trying itself because my wife and I thought differently about religion and life than my mother-in-law.

After a few months, I found a job working corporate parties and we were able to get our own house.

Our kids are still trying to adjust, as are we, but it’s still the best thing I’ve done.

I feel I have more freedom than I used to. My kids have more room to be kids and my wife and I are stronger than we’ve ever been.

Life will throw you chances to change your life every so often, you have to reach out for them.

Peace and Long Life in the New Year,
