A warning from Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Stephen Hawking
Quincy Larson

It is always possible to automate any mechanized environment, but in the end remember, “Unemployed people don’t buy things” Employees are also customers and we wind up with the walmart downward spiral. Unemployed and displaced workers wind up only being able to afford cheap/inexpensive consumer goods made in 3'd world countries where labour and environmental practices are poor at best. I’ve never heard of suicide nets in North American factories as they have in China to stop workers from killing themselves by jumping out of windows.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
